Senior Finance Assistant

At Applivery, we are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Specialist to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our global accounting operations. In this role, you will manage the full accounting cycle, from daily financial bookings and intercompany reconciliations to complex period-end and technical year-end closing activities.

Leveraging your advanced ERP expertise, you will streamline financial processes, maintain the chart of accounts, and drive continuous improvement through technology and best practices.

• Supporting financial booking activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the company regulations. Managing reconciliations and adjustments, to maintain accurate financial records.

• Supporting period end close activities, including closing the accounts receivable/payable subledger and reconciling with the general ledger; closing the general ledger, opening new financial periods, and managing Asset Accounting (AA).

• Supporting the Intercompany reconciliation process and fixing variances.

• Performing technical Year End Closing activities such as balance carry forward, number range creations, and closing AA.

• Utilizing advanced knowledge of ERP systems to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

• Maintaining and updating the chart of accounts and hierarchies, ensuring it reflects the current business structure and reporting requirements.

• Preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.

• Preparing and consolidating financial reporting packages for stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery and clear insights.

• Contributing to the continuous improvement, leveraging technology and best practices; maintaining policies, procedures, and templates.

• Ensuring financial internal controls are in place and followed for the processes performed by this role.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration (ADE), Finance, or a related field. 

• Experience: At least 5 years of proven experience in Accounting and Taxation.

• Technical Accounting: Deep knowledge of IFRS. Proficiency in US GAAP will be highly valued. 

• Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace tools.

• Systems: Strong knowledge of ERP systems (highly valued experience in Holded); experience with Power BI is a plus. 

• Languages: Advanced level of English (C1/Professional). 

• Prior experience or familiarity working with Holded ERP.
