IT Manager

As our IT Manager, you will be the architect and operator of Applivery's internal IT. You'll make sure every employee, from day one, has the tools, access, and devices they need to do their best work, securely and without friction.

This role is uniquely exciting: you will run Applivery's internal IT using Applivery itself. You'll be our power user, our most demanding customer, and a critical voice that pushes the product to be world-class. In a company building the future of endpoint management, our internal IT is our showcase, and you'll own it end-to-end.

You'll lead everything from device lifecycle and identity management to SaaS governance, security compliance, and the daily operations that keep a high-velocity, remote-friendly team productive. If you love building systems from the ground up, automating everything that shouldn't be manual, and being the trusted technical go-to across the company, this role is for you.

• Own the full endpoint lifecycle — provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and retirement — across macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android, using Applivery as our MDM/UEM platform.

• Design and operate our Identity and Access Management strategy: SSO, MFA, least-privilege access, and Joiner/Mover/Leaver workflows across our full SaaS stack (Google Workspace, HubSpot, GitHub, and many more).

• Collaborate with our internal security and compliance posture: SOC 2, ISO 27001, and ENS readiness, including policies, controls, evidence collection, and audits.

• Build and evolve a zero-trust architecture for the company, keeping productivity high and friction low.

• Deliver outstanding onboarding and offboarding experiences for every new hire and leaver — fast, secure, and fully automated whenever possible.

• Be the internal champion of the Applivery platform: dogfood aggressively, report bugs, propose features, and partner with Product and Engineering to shape the roadmap.

• Manage vendors, licenses, and the full SaaS portfolio, keeping costs, risk, and data governance under control.

• Support our Madrid office IT infrastructure (meeting rooms, Wi-Fi, AV, peripherals) while scaling practices that work for a distributed team.

• Automate repetitive operations with scripting and workflow tools (n8n, shell, Python) — we expect IT to be as engineered as the product.

• Be the first responder for internal IT incidents and the owner of continuous improvement across every tool in the company.

• Partner closely with the COO, People Ops, Finance, and Security on cross-functional initiatives.

• 4+ years of experience in IT Operations, IT Management, or SysAdmin/Security roles, ideally in a fast-growing SaaS company.

• Hands-on expertise with at least one MDM / UEM platform (Applivery, Intune, Jamf, Kandji, Workspace ONE, or equivalent).

• Solid command of identity providers (Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta) and SSO/SAML/OIDC/SCIM at a practical level.

• Strong understanding of endpoint security: disk encryption, EDR, patch management, DLP, and conditional access.

• Experience contributing to or leading compliance frameworks — SOC 2, ISO 27001, or ENS — beyond just "checking boxes."

• Comfortable with scripting and automation (Bash, Python, PowerShell, n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar).

• A product-minded builder who treats internal IT as a platform, not a ticket queue.

• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish; able to translate technical complexity for any audience, from engineers to the C-suite.
