About the Role
As an Implementation Specialist – Windows, you will be responsible for leading the deployment, configuration, and optimization of Windows device management solutions. You will work closely with customers, technical teams, and project managers to ensure the successful implementation of Windows MDM solutions, security policies, and enterprise compliance standards.
Your role will focus on Windows endpoint management though Applivery, including Group Policy (GPOs), OMA-URIs, security hardening, and compliance policies. You will also provide technical documentation, training sessions, and Level 2 technical support to ensure smooth customer deployments and operations.
This position requires deep knowledge of Windows device management, strong troubleshooting skills, and excellent communication abilities to support enterprise clients effectively.
What You Will Do
Project Deployment & Implementation
Lead the implementation of Windows device management solutions, ensuring seamless configuration and policy enforcement.
Configure Group Policy (GPOs), OMA-URIs, and Windows Update for Business (WUfB) for enterprise deployments.
Assist customers in setting up security baselines, compliance policies, and access controls to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Solution Testing & Optimization
Perform pre-deployment testing, validating security configurations, compliance settings, and app deployment workflows.
Identify and resolve potential issues related to device provisioning, policy enforcement, and Windows security.
Optimize device performance, security, and compliance for enterprise environments.
Technical Documentation & Training
Create and maintain technical documentation, including setup guides, troubleshooting FAQs, and best practices for Windows device management.
Provide customer training sessions on Windows endpoint management, covering device enrollment, compliance policies, app deployment, and security settings.
Develop use case training materials, helping customers maximize the effectiveness of their Windows MDM implementation.
Level 2 Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues, assisting customers with diagnosing and resolving Windows MDM-related problems.
Troubleshoot device enrollment failures, security policy enforcement issues, and software deployment errors.
Work closely with engineering and product teams to escalate unresolved technical challenges and contribute to product improvements.
What You Will Need
Strong expertise in Windows endpoint management, including Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Group Policy (GPOs), OMA-URIs, and Windows Update for Business (WUfB).
Minimum 3 years of experience in Windows device management, MDM implementation, or IT administration.
Hands-on experience configuring security baselines, compliance rules, and application deployment for Windows devices.
Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze logs and resolve technical issues related to Windows MDM platforms.
Experience with Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) solutions such as VMware Workspace ONE, MobileIron, or similar.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to customers and internal teams.
Proficiency in writing technical documentation and training materials.
Familiarity with Windows PowerShell scripting and automation for device management is a plus.
Experience with API integrations and automation for Windows management (JSON, REST APIs) is a plus.
Relevant certifications (MD-102, Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, or similar) are a plus.
Nice to Have
Expertise in Windows MDM solutions: Intune, Autopilot, GPOs, OMA-URIs.
3+ years of experience in device management, MDM implementation, or IT administration.
Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows MDM platforms and analyzing logs.
Strong communication skills for training and technical documentation.
Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and API integrations is a plus.
Certifications like MD-102 or Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate are a bonus!
