Backend engineer

We are in a growth phase and are looking for a Backend Engineer with a product mindset to help us evolve our architecture and build the future of device management.

We are seeking 4 roles with different levels of experience:

• 1 x Senior Backend Engineer

• 2 x mid-level Backend Engineers

• 1 x Junior Backend Engineer

As a backend developer, you won't just write code; you'll be a key player in designing high-availability systems. Your work will directly impact how thousands of companies interact with their Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows devices, ensuring that our APIs are robust, scalable, and secure.

• Design and Implementation: Collaborate closely with the Product team to define and build new features that solve real problems for our customers.

• Architecture and Performance: Identify bottlenecks and propose architectural improvements to ensure the scalability and speed of our platform.

• Code Quality: Maintain high quality standards through code reviews, clear documentation, and the implementation of tests (unit and functional).

• Continuous Innovation: Research and propose the adoption of new technologies and best practices that optimize our development flows.

• Maintenance: Resolve incidents and debug existing APIs, ensuring a frictionless experience.

• Core: Solid experience developing backend applications with Node.js and TypeScript.

• Ecosystem: Proficiency in libraries and frameworks such as Express, Zod, and Mongoose.

• Databases: Experience working with relational and non-relational databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL).

• Cloud: Knowledge of cloud infrastructure services (AWS, GCP, and/or Cloudflare).

• Messaging: Experience with event queueing systems or asynchronous messaging (RabbitMQ, PubSub, etc.).

• Quality: Familiarity with automated testing and version control tools (Git).

• Language: We work in quite an international environment so you will need to be fluent in english

• Experience with payment gateways (Stripe), real-time communication (Socket.io), and security (OWASP).

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with the mobile and desktop operating system ecosystem (Android, iOS, macOS, Windows).

• Experience working under Agile methodologies.
